To opt out, please provide your panelist ID, which you can find by following the steps below, to privacy@biscience.com. In addition, we will honor opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, if you provide us additional information to help facilitate your request to opt out, such as the phone number requested below.

How to find your panelist ID

In Chrome or Edge, about a minute. The numbers in the picture match the steps.

Open developer tools. On any web page, press F12, or right-click the page and choose Inspect. A panel opens. Click the Application tab at the top. If you don’t see it, click the » arrows to find it.

Find Extension storage. In the list on the left, under Storage, click the small arrow next to Extension storage to expand it.

Pick the extension. The extensions installed on your browser are listed by name. Expand the one you installed.

Click Local. A table of keys and values appears on the right.

Copy the value next to panalyticsid. Find that row in the Key column (you can type it in the Filter box above the table). The text in the Value column, about 22 letters and digits, is your panelist ID. Click the row, then select the value shown below the table and copy it.

Using more than one extension that works with us? Each has its own ID. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each one.

Using Firefox, Safari, or a phone? Email privacy@biscience.com with the extension name and your browser, and we will guide you.

OPT OUT BY EMAIL
Send your panelist ID to privacy@biscience.com

Paste the ID into the email, nothing else is required. We stop selling data linked to that ID, remove what we hold, and confirm by reply.

STOP COLLECTION AT THE SOURCE
Turn off data collection in the extension’s settings

Open the extension, go to Settings and switch off data collection or sharing. Collection stops immediately for that browser.
